Altered Baby Frame and Handmade Special Delivery Card for Naisha

Hello! Been a long time since my last post... Last Friday, I made a nice welcome baby card and altered a frame for my newborn niece Naisha. Just wanna share...

I painted the frame with my MM purple acrylic paint and Embelish it with some stickers, chipboard and rub-ons.

and tadaaa! This is what I came up with. Nice and simple.

Then I also made a special delivery card for her mom and dad.

Me and Naisha. She's so adorable!

This is my cousin Kai - mom of Naisha. She's sooo happy to received a handmade gift from me! :)

Anyway, here are some scrapbooking projects that i did few months ago. TFL!

a nice Gift and a handmade card for MIL on Mom's day.

I decorated a notepad with patterned flower paper for my SIL Geena and made a handmade card for her too!

I made some simple cards last Valentines day 2009.

Here's the xmas card I made specially for DONNA and sent it thru mail. Im so happy because she texted me yesterday! She said: "Pam, thank you for the christmas card ha! i love how you did the tree :) ganda! thank you and happy holidays too"!

Nico's Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Nico's 8th birthday today. His mom gave him a small dinner party and we are all excited!

Mom decorated the dining area with some balloons....

I cooked Pasta Carbonara and Chicken Lollipop. Lolo bought fresh lumpiang ubod and the popular moist chocolate cake from Polly's.

I made him a nice card too and prepared a small gift.

Havent posted anything for a month because of my busy schedule. Work, kids exams & programs in school.Busy with my MIL business because they were out of the country for almost a month and a half. Our Fun Saturday

Saturday is always a fun day for the whole fam. Todays activity are -

Watched the onstage theatre "Mulan" in Greenbelt. Sorry we dont have any photos to share because cameras are not allowed inside.

After that, we went to Greenbelt 5 to check out some new stores and restaurants.

Then headed to Serendra for a nice walk, yummy desserts and playtime! Ofcourse I had to take nice photos again.

Bought our favorite cupcake in Serendra for dessert! The famous, CUPCAKES by Sonja... Yanna had the vanilla cupcake and Marco had the Lemon Drop. Mmmmmmm....

Had a great time watching this unique PIXTAR love story and comedy film about robots.

WALL-E is a 2008 computer-animated science fiction film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The film was directed by Andrew Stanton. It follows the story of a robot named WALL-E who is designed to clean up a polluted Earth. He eventually falls in love with another robot named EVE, and follows her into outer space on an adventure.

Kids are a little sad because Tita Geena and Tito Ants (who really loves to watch the film) were not able to join this time because their son Nico is still in ICU.
Oh well, will wait for the showing of HSM 3 and will definitely watched it with them again.

Yep. We've finally met DAVE MING CHENG. hahaha! funny name and funny movie too!

Hubby, me, my kids and SIL Geena watched the movie in Rockwell (my favorite movie house). We had cheese popcorn, jamaican patties, donuts and chips for our snacks. Had so much fun!!

My Sister-in-law Geena succesfully passed the Board Exam for Nursing. She is now ready to be called, R.N. Marianne Geena C. Santos. We are all happy for her so we take her out for dinner and celebrate! I suggest that we all should try SECRET RECIPE's award winning recipes in Shang-rila.

Baked minced beef or chicken with special tomato sauce and topped with cheese. served with home-made bun. She also wants to try the mushroom soup coz its really her favorite, but its out of stock.

CEASAR SALAD P120 - an almost classic salad recipe topped with croutons and imported parmesan cheese.

Flat rice noodles in their very famous spicy tom yum soup with king prawns. Its the best Tom yum Ive ever tasted! Hubby loves it! He requested to add more chili powder. Suuper hot! Mom and Dad cant eat some anymore!!

Fillet Seabass with cream sauce served with green salad. (the seabass fillet may be substituted with dory or perch)

Now, were all excited to eat our dessert!

Told Geena to try this yummy expresso cheesecake coz she loves coffee so much...And she liked it!!

I ordered my favorite- CARAMEL CHEESECAKE. Hubby loves it! He almost finished it! (also love their white chocolate macadamia)

Mom and Dad had the Award Winning Chocolate Mud Cake. Slice P110 filled with semi-sweet and smooth creamy chocolate fudge. Nothing Great in this cake except frosting is good. We are all wondering why they choose this cake to be awarded. Their cheesecakes should be awarded because they are the best!

My kids had Chocolate Fudge Cake

Anthony ordered this High-Fibre cake. Rich in high-fibre grains seeds and nuts,low in trans-fatty acids, source of protein, reduce the risk of heart disease. Hmmmmm... dont really like the texture of this one. haha!

We had a nice dinner sponsored by mom and dad and were all stuffed and cant stand up to walk all the way to the parking lot!!! :)

New Job! Bar Hop!

I got a new job! What really makes me happy is that my office is very near our house. Being a SAHM for 6 months is fun because you enjoyed every moment with the kids and ofcourse lots of time to scrap too! :).

I really miss posting. I started working a week ago and been very busy with some trainings. Busy busy busy - because my tito joey from Chicago visited so we have to take him here and there. Gimicks all night, bar hopping, dinner, chitchattin' till 6 in the morning in my tita's condo in Excesior, Eastwood City. We really had so much fun!

Anyway, here are some photos i want to share...

Crunchy Salmon Roll with Shrimp Salad-california roll with salmon skin tempura, avocado,sliced unagi and spicy shrimp salad on top seved with wasabi and tenzy sauce.

Sweet photo taken inside Persian restaurant then headed to the condo for more drinks!! Went home at 6:00am :)

We had our huling hirit vacation before school starts again in tagaytay from Sunday until Monday. Had a great time with friends and the kids really enjoyed the trip.

then few drinks at Gino's place. We ordered pizza then Karen and I had mudslide chocoloate vodka for our drinks! Its actually my favorite drink!

They sell yummy cheese hopia, hispanish bread and adobini in their PANADERIA.

Got these stuff: 12x12 PPS for P15.00 each. Ribbons and MM acrylic paint less 50% off. Letter brads at P1.00 @. The jounalling spotz are not on sale.

Cardstock 11x8 1/2 @ P5.00 each. I bought lots of these for my cardmaking. They got nice dark & light colors.

Since KK goes Hershey’s, I would not have second thoughts of getting a mouthful of their Cookies and Cream and Dark Chocolate HERSHEY's flavors. Perfect sweetness!I love it more than the (suuuper sweet) original glazed.

I must say that KK’s Cookies and Cream and Dark Chocolate are luscious!

Just one donut for me... I have to watch for my calorie intake!

Na-inspire naman ako sa mga cards mo :D Lalo tuloy ako nanggigigil to try my hands at it. Sa totoo lang, may mga nabili na nga akong mga colored boards na mukhang Bazzill papers. Para kako di ko na gagamitin pa nung acid-free cs, nakakahinayang eh. At saka para di masakit sa loob ipamigay kasi murang papel lang naman - Barat talaga ("all the acid-free papers are mine! MINE!") LOL!

Sa susunod, inggitin mo pa uli ako ha. Para kung di pa rin ako nag-umpisa, tutulo na talaga laway ko :D

I bought these stuff on sale from Helen of Memory Lane & Scapbukan last Saturday.

Meet with Jen from SE groups in Simple Joys Megamall and bought
another sets of ribbons. Jen bought lots of stuff too!

I saw this Holidays stackable set of stamps @ P1,300 (or up) in Rustan's Shang-rila last December and found out that HMR is selling it for only P200! I went back the next day to buy another diffrent set but its already out of stock!! Oh men!!

As seen on TV! I bought this table on sale in Ace hardware Megamall. I use this table for scrapping.

Yep Im telling ya! My favorite cake in Banapple is Banana Cream Pie. I just love the taste of their delicious cold cream, bananas with thick graham crust. Neutral-tasting, perfect sweetness.

I settled on trying two pies - Banoffee & Praline Banana Cream Pie. In case you dont know, key difference between both is the Banoffee has toffee-caramel syrup coated in it, hence making it much sweeter but still both of them taste really good!

What I had...the Chicken Breast Parmigiano (P145), a platter of tender fillets of chicken breast, encrusted in a parmesan crumb mixture. The chicken is topped with stewed tomato sauce and mozzarella cubes.

My husband had the Salpicao Rafael (P150), cubes of rib-eye steak and sliced mushrooms, is smothered in garlic pieces and seasoned with special brown sauce.

Got these for take out...

Creamy chicken pie P40, Tuna Pie P40, Banapple's Creamy Chicken Pie (P75) is served with chunky potato salad (the pie is P40 without the side salad). The pie has moist chicken flakes inside, blended in creamy white sauce. The pie's crust is oh so delicious specially when served hot.

My kids love these cookies! They love dipping it in fresh cold milk.

Completely New SUBIC BAY...

Over the long weekend, my family and friends went out of town and experienced a completely new and different SUBIC Bay trip.

After regularly visiting Subic for many years, there are still many new places to discover.

New beach resorts: One of them is the Camayan Beach where we went. Nice white sand beach. They have very accomodating staff. Facilities are excellent but the food are a little expensive. You can bring food or grill there. You just need to rent a griller. We rented a big hub(Cabana) @ P750. They have nice snorkling and dive sites and relaxing beach front hotels too.

New hotels: My favorite are the ones at the freeport - The Lighthouse and Vista Marina. They have nice rooms and swimming pool but as usual, those hotels are fully-booked again.

Here are the pictures of our full of fun trip! 3 days and 2 nights!

had lunch at the MEAT PLUS CAFE. Jovy's favorite American cuisine resto. Good food and yummy steak. Still the best!

our new favorite gimik place, Ralis Bar & Grill.. by the bay. Nice view, cool weather, great food.

The restaurants specialty...Blackened Stuff - Loiusiana or Gulf Coast specialty: meat or fish coated in a unique blend of spices and cooked in special wax.

What we had...blackened chicken breast. We just love the taste of the blended spices. Crispy in the outside too.

the next day, we went to Camayan Beach resort and the kids really enjoyed swimming and playing in the sand.

How I love organizing birthday parties!

This is the second time that I organized my daughter’s bday party without any help of a paid party organizer or a caterer! (Only of course with the help of my friends and relatives.)

On her 7th birthday 2 years ago, I have prepared great ideas for her costume themed party called, "Fairies & Elves". Our venue is in a very nice garden where we decorated it like a fairy land.

We set up party booths like fishing booth, balloon popping booth, magnetic dart booth, tattoo booth, and arts & crafts booth. My SIL helped us make the invitations. And my MIL & I had great ideas to decorate the party place, tent, chairs and tables with nice bright colors of cloths & glittered butterflies. I hired an excellent party host in fairy costume too! The kids really enjoyed the party games.

On her 9th birthday celebrated last February 16, 2008 her party was held again at our favorite place - The Garden Club. This time, she wants her party themed "Decorate your own CUPCAKE". And since it’s only a small party, we did not hire a party host or a caterer. Instead of hiring or paying extra money, I made plans of doing all of these things to make her party an unforgettable one....

Brianna's Birthday Dinner

February 12 is my daugther's birthday. She turned 9 years old. We had dinner at home and celebrated it with the whole family.

bought her a small chocolate mocha cake from Red Ribbon.....

and cooked her favorite white sauce carbonara pasta....

My hubby & I planned to give her a small party because she's one smart little girl! - 2nd honor in her class. She's in the 2nd grade and studies in St. Paul College Pasig.

Her small party is scheduled, Saturday, Feb. 16 at 3pm in my favorite party place -THE GARDEN CLUB just a few blocks away from my in-laws house.

Yey! my favorite part of the season is near! -SUMMERTIME
Im so excited to go out of town again with my family and friends. Sun, beach, sun glasses, sun dresses, tanlines, flipflops! Oh how i love these things when its summer!

Ofcourse, I need to have nice summer colors of make-up so i bought a nice set again in Elianto.

Sick...

Been sick for the past 2 weeks. I was confined at The Medical City for 3 days and was diagnosed with Accute Tonsilla Parangitis.I cant swallow for days. Got fever, chills and my body gets weak.

My yaya got colds & cough already. I hate when people cough and don't cover their mouth. I find it gross! Specially when kids are around, I dont want them to get sick also...

AMICI DI DON BOSCO

Speaking of AMICI, my friend Dominique & Loren brought us there one time. Its a self-service resto-canteen and serves authentic Italian cuisine brought to us by one of the entreprenurial Italian Salesian Priest, Fr. Gianlugi Colombo, SDB. Its the best Authentic Italian Restaurant I have ever tried here in Manila.

Amici is located right inside Don Bosco Technical School Compound in Makati City along Pasong Tamo near Waltermart. They serve Italian wood fire pizza, perfectly cooked pasta and my favorite gelato for only P35 per scoop! Very cheap and yummy.

Try ordering these: PASTA:Spaghetti Vongole e Gamberetti(P250) PIZZA: Al Quattro Formaggi (P150+) , GELATO (P35 per scoop/P250 a gallon): Hazelnut and Vanilla with nuts.

Been to Amici twice already. Will definitely visit again whenever I feel like eating ITALIAN.

Today, I was invited to attend a group discussion from an advertising company called Millward Brown in Makati. After the discussion, My friends and I went to G3 to eat dinner.

While walking along glorietta, different flavors of frozen dessert caught my eye. I winced at the price of a scoop but what the heck, it was too tempting to pass up!

The girl behind the counter patiently smiled at me as she gave me a small spoon of the gelato for me to taste. After trying 4 of the flavors they have (Mascarpone, Biscotto, Caramel and Bacio Bianco Toblerone) I finally choose Mascarpone. Mascarpone means cream cheese in Italian. I ask if they have sugar-free flavors and she told me that those flavors are out of stock! Their regulars are super sweet!

I like GELATO more than ordinary ice cream. One of the BEST I have tasted is in AMICI DI DON BOSCO in Pasay road/Arnaiz St. Makati. Super Yummy, creamy Gelato i've ever tasted! The best flavor for me are HAZELNUT and Vanilla Nut and would you believ its only P35 per scoop, while in GELATONE, its more pricey @ P100 per scoop!

While i was shopping during the holidays, i pass by ELIANTO store inside dept. store ground floor in galleria. One pretty girl was having a make-over using all Elianto color blue lines of eye make-up. Her eyes are sparkling!
